From Relief to Recovery: Two Years After the Haiti Earthquake

Earlier today, the United Nations Foundation  co-hosted a press teleconference with United Nations Under-Secretary-General and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Associate Administrator Rebeca Grynspan, UNDP Haiti country director Jessica Faieta, and U.S. State Department’s Deputy Coordinator for Assistance for Haiti Eileen Smith to update media on the successes, ongoing rebuilding efforts and current needs in Haiti two years after the devastating earthquake.

The two year anniversary of the earthquake is coming up next week and the participants gave a thorough assessment of where things stand in terms of the ongoing recovery efforts. Have a listen.
