Jacqueline Van De Velde is a rising student at Yale Law School, after which she hopes to pursue a public service career at the crossroads of international law and foreign policy. Currently based in Washington, DC, she works for the Roosevelt Institute, the nation's oldest and largest student-run think tank, helping to develop the policy writing and research skills of the millennial generation. She has experience working for myriad NGOs, federal agencies, and international organizations, including INTERPOL, The Carter Center, and the U.S. Department of State. She earned a BA in International Affairs, a BA in English, and an MA in English with a focus on postcolonial literature from the University of Georgia in 2014.
