Gisele Bundchen Stars in Videos for Rio+20

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil –  The Brazilian model and UN Environment Program Goodwill Ambassador Gisele Bundchen filmed these two videos for the UN Secretary General’s Sustainable Energy for All initiative.

One of the key goals of the initiative is to bring clean energy solutions to people living in poor communities around the world. To that end, the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves is an important player. The Global Alliance is a public private partnership between governments, NGOs and the private sector that seeks to reduce people’s exposure to harmful indoor cooking smoke by replacing old, unhealthy cook stoves with cleaner burning alternatives.

It’s  a project that is good for the environment and good for people’s health and welfare.

In these two videos, released at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (also known as Rio+20) this week, Gisele explains the urgency and importance of clean cookstoves.
