That’s from a report of the the World Meteorological Organization which takes a look at the 2000-2010 decade and compares it to other decades since temperature data was recorded. The data shows, unambiguously that the world is getting hotter, faster than at anytime over the past 130 years.
The report is subtitled “A Decade of Climate Extremes” and it offers a detailed account of various weather anomalies that were experienced in the aughts. Click though to the PDF for a larger picture.
