The Social Good Summit kicks off Sunday! This is the annual confab, hosted by Mashable, the UN Foundation, the 92Y, Ericsson, the UN Development Program and the Gates Foundation brings together policy makers, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, philanthropists and anyone who has compelling ideas for using new technologies to advance global social good.
The theme this year is #2030Now. That’s a reference to a very big meeting happening across town at the United Nations where world leaders are working on an international development agenda for the next 15 years, after the Millennium Development Goals expire in 2015.
There is an absolute GREAT lineup of panels and speakers, and I would be remiss not to plug Child Soldiers Never Again: Protecting Children Caught in Conflict which I am moderating on Monday night.
If you can’t make it to New York, you can follow all the action via webstream, and of course on twitter.
Hope to see you there!
