Nepal is one of the poorest countries in Asia. And the poorest Nepalese are often rural subsistence farmers. Now, climate change is making the farming conditions even more difficult and more and more young people are leaving their villages for work abroad. Against this backdrop, a number of relatively straightforward innovations in cooperative farming is helping these farmers buck that trend.
