The crew that brings the Social Good Summit to New York’s 92nd Street Y during UN Week every september has once again taken the show on the road. This time, the Social Good partners are in Kuala Lumpur for Women Deliver, a major global meeting that focuses on women’s rights and women’s health worldwide.
You can watch some very interesting panels, ranging from a discussion about how solar energy solutions are promoting maternal health in Africa, to how mobile phones can be harnessed to fight HIV/AIDS, to a keynote conversation with UN Foundation CEO Kathy Calvin and Women Deliver chief Jill Sheffield.
What distinguishes this particular Social Good-branded endeavor is that Women Deliver +Social Good marks the launch of a new standing online community that seeks to keep the conversation about these issues going, even when there’s not a big confab underway in New York, Rio, or Kuala Lumpur. +Social Good is standing online platform for engaged global citizens to discuss, collaborate, connect and plot solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
I just joined the community. You should too!
