I guested hosted Al Jazeera’s The Stream yesterday. On the first half of the show we discuss Syria’s online counter-revolutionaries, the Syrian Electronic Army, which launches DDoS and defaces websites of groups it seems insufficiently pro-Assad. Later, we chat about a truly awful incident in which two Mexican twitter users were arrested on terrorism charges for falsely spreading rumors of a kidnapping at a school in Veracruz. Enjoy!
